Sponsored by: Samaritan Counseling Center
( A $5.00 donation not expected but appreciated.)
The Samaritan Counseling Center (SCC) will hold a series of four FREE workshops specifically designed to help individuals and families cope with grief during the Holiday Season.
The Workshops are a small group experience for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one.
The Holidays are a wonderful time for many people, but fraught with sadness for so many others. As John Pavlovitz, writer and pastor so eloquently states: There’s nothing quite like the holiday season to ratchet up the pressure we feel, not only to have it all together, but to wrap it in lights and tinsel and broadcast it in a heavily filtered Instagram pic. We feel more compelled than ever to feel good, and more guilty than ever to admit that we don’t.
