Counseling is often a life-changing solution. At Samaritan Counseling Center, our goal is to help you strengthen your relationships. If you want help, we encourage you to call us and make an appointment with one of our staff counselors who are trained in family and couples therapy. Our services include:

  • Couples Counseling
  • Marriage Counseling
  • Divorce Counseling
  • Pre-Marital Counseling and Assessments
  • Widowhood
  • Sex Therapy

Family Counseling

Counseling for all families: parents experiencing problems with their children and parents struggling with matters of faith.

Healthy families form the foundation of successful lives. At Samaritan Counseling Center, we nurture family growth and development.

Typically, Family Counseling takes place in sessions with multiple members of the family and the counselor. This allows the counselor to see how family members interact with one another and serve as a mediator, allowing each family member to express their feelings without being talked over or shut out.

Through the years, our counselors have restored hundreds of families to health and stability. We have particular experience working with military families.

Veterans, Active Military Members & Families

We also provide counseling for military members being deployed and their families, as well as returning military and veterans.

Samaritan Counseling Center is one of very few providers who offer these specialized counseling services.

Grief Counseling

Counseling for individuals suffering significant loss.

After the death of a loved one–or other significant loss–anxiety and depression may set in. This is a normal stage in the grieving process. It helps to discuss grief with a trained counselor, like those we have at the Samaritan Counseling Center.

Grief counseling can help heal the scars that losing someone close to you, or something important, can cause.

Children & Adolescent Counseling

Young people today live in increasingly turbulent times.

We work with children and adolescents who are experiencing challenges such as:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Abuse
  • LGBTQ+
  • Emotional Concerns
  • Bullying
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Trauma
  • Divorce
  • Grief

NEED HELP?

We all need help sometimes. Please call us at 716-743-9117. We are here for you.

At the Samaritan Counseling Center, we not only work to help heal your mind, but your heart, as well. We provide that most crucial of all needs—hope. While our services are rooted in faith based solutions, we work with everyone who needs help. By focusing on your mind, body and spirit, we generate the hope and healing that we all need in our lives.

If you have questions, would like to know more about us, or know a person or family who needs us, please call, totally confidentially at 716-743-9117 so we can talk more.

Is Counseling for Me?

Our counseling process is a safe, caring and confidential relationship between you and a trained therapist. It is based on your own specific needs. You will work with a therapist to identify and achieve the goals that you set.

Counseling saves lives.

We all come from different walks of life, and that includes a wide range of faiths. However, when it all comes down to it, we’re all joined by the common denominator of the human soul.
