The Samaritan Counseling Center of Western New York provides immediate, low cost counseling services to people in desperate need. We have helped thousands of people over the past 60 years; many of these individuals could not or cannot afford traditional counseling services.

Most significantly, the Samaritan Counseling Center focuses on mind, body and spirit, emphasizing the special strengths we all have, encouraging healthy behavior and fostering supportive relationships. We respect and incorporate each person’s personal and spiritual values. There is no focus on or endorsement of any specific religion.

• We offer services based on a sliding scale—we want to help you if you need it — payment shouldn’t be the deciding factor. We have a history of serving those who are low income and disadvantaged—and thereby, unable to afford most counseling services.
  
  
• Our approach is unique, and our outcomes consistently positive as our counselors blend faith and modern science to comprehensively treat the whole person.
  
  
• Our experienced counselors hold MSW and LCSW credentials and are specially trained in specific modalities and methodologies such as systems theory.
  
  
• We heal both heart and soul on a deeper level. Journeys resume as lives are rebuilt.

The phrase “good Samaritan” is defined as ‘someone who helps a stranger’ from the famous parable preached by Jesus. The Samaritan Center does just that, except we don’t look at you as a “stranger”. At any of our 5 locations throughout Western New York, you are always seen as a friend.
